Provide rope access supervision to complete the buildings 10 year scheduled repaint for the 1500sqm Park Lane facility in Chermside.
The condition of the 10-year old building required extensive remediation works including 7 solid plaster repairs that had an average surface area of 3.6sqm. (to make matters worse, the repairs were all located on external corners with drainage pipes in the centre), soffit repairs located 2m from the awnings edge completed via rope access, gutter repairs to prevent water ingress into the roof cavity, and down pipe replacement causing sever moisture damage to core filled block walls.
With the remedial works completed our team was able to complete the surface preparation of the substrate and application of the new Taubmans paint system.
Jack Martin – “Our team was able to provide a great cost saving exercise for the client by utilising structural componants of the building for rigging as apposed to installation of a new height safety system, saving the client $6,000.00 on their project costs”
